Riches are in the Niches:

Did you know Masonic products were a big business? Neither did we.

What we like about this is the audience and products are highly targeted and very niche. You are likely to have less competition and a very clear consumer to target with online ads and community possibilities.

Diverse revenue streams with 20% coming from Tiktok Shop and successful facebook ads.

The basic business metrics are also positive with a growth rate of well over 20%

What We Don’t Like:

The business contains a dropshipping catalog that’s huge. 46,500 items and represents 50% of revenue. While this makes it asset light, it also adds a lot of business complexity that could rapidly become incredibly complex and a big headache.

Thread of the Week

We saved a few bangers down below.

Another Aggregator Down and More Mergers

Benitago last week filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, despite having raised $325 million in a 2021 Series A round that included both equity and debt.

At the same time Perch was just sold to Razor Group (German aggregator) making it the largest standing aggregator and headed toward $1 Billion in revenue (allegedly).

As a part of the transaction, Razor Group announced a Series D financing of $100 Million in new financing.

Here’s a bonus nugget from MDS Inspire. Unybrands is completely debt free after it’s last transaction (taking on more equity to clear its credit line and other debt). I think they’re the strongest platform out there from a balance sheet and leadership perspective.
